朝晩はずいぶん涼しくなり、秋の深まりを感じる季節になりましたね。
皆さんはいかがお過ごしでしょうか？
DELICIOUS GARAGEのオープンに向けた準備も、まだ途中ではありますが少しずつ進んでいます。
MINI-Zを楽しむうえで、サーキットの路面は走りの楽しさを左右する大切な要素です。
DELICIOUS GARAGEの常設サーキットに採用するのは、パンチカーペットを選択しました。ドリフト専用とはいきませんが、少しスライドしながら走らせることもできるようなイメージです。
カーペット路面ならではの走行フィールを楽しめるよう、コースづくりを進めていきます。
もちろん、ただカーペットを敷けば完成というわけではありません。路面の状態や継ぎ目、コースレイアウトなど、実際に走行したときのことを考えながら、少しずつ仕上げていく必要があります。
コースのアップダウンがあるため、継ぎ目に段差が出ないよう作業は慎重に進めました。
さらに、ラップカウンターⅢも埋め込み、ラップタイム計測にも対応できるようにしました。
せっかく常設サーキットをつくるなら、初心者の方から走り込んでいるベテランの方まで、それぞれの楽しみ方ができる場所にしたいと思っています。
常設サーキットの魅力は、いつでも自分のマシンを持ち込んで走行を楽しめること。
セッティングを変更して走り比べたり、タイム更新を目指したり、仲間と一緒に走行を楽しんだり……。
MINI-Zの楽しみ方は本当にさまざまです。
そして、走行を重ねるうちに「もう少し速く走りたい」「次はこのセッティングを試してみよう」と、新しい目標が生まれるのも面白いところですよね。
DELICIOUS GARAGEでは、そんな楽しみを共有できる場所を目指して準備を進めています。
コースづくりも、実際に走行しながら調整していく部分が出てくると思います。

Installing Punch Carpet on Our Permanent MINI-Z Circuit!
The mornings and evenings have become much cooler, and it really feels like autumn is in full swing.
How is everyone doing?
Preparations for the opening of DELICIOUS GARAGE are still ongoing, but we’re making steady progress little by little.
When it comes to enjoying MINI-Z, the track surface is an important factor that can make a big difference in the driving experience.
For our permanent circuit at DELICIOUS GARAGE, we’ve decided to use punch carpet as the track surface. While it won’t be a dedicated drift track, we’re aiming for a surface that will also allow drivers to enjoy a little sliding through the corners.
We’re working on the circuit so that everyone can enjoy the unique driving feel of a carpet track.
Of course, simply laying down the carpet isn’t enough to complete the circuit. We need to carefully consider the surface condition, the joints between carpet sections, and the track layout, making adjustments with the actual driving experience in mind.
Since our circuit features elevation changes, we took extra care during installation to ensure there would be no bumps or uneven surfaces at the carpet joints.
We’ve also integrated a Lap Counter III into the track, making it possible to measure lap times.
Our goal is to create a place where everyone can enjoy MINI-Z in their own way, from beginners just getting started to experienced drivers who love pushing their machines to the limit.
One of the best things about a permanent circuit is being able to bring your own car and enjoy driving whenever you visit.
You can experiment with different setups, try to beat your personal best lap time, or simply have fun driving together with friends.
There are so many different ways to enjoy MINI-Z!
And the more you drive, the more new goals you discover, such as “I want to go a little faster” or “Next time, I’ll try this setup.” That’s part of what makes the hobby so exciting.
At DELICIOUS GARAGE, we’re working hard to create a place where everyone can share that enjoyment.
We expect that some fine-tuning of the circuit will be necessary once we start running cars on it.
